How long is each visit?

To ensure your cat(s) are fed, trays are cleaned and there is time for socialising and checking the health of each pet, visits last between 15-30 minutes, depending on the needs of each home.

I ensure I don't 'overbook' appointments so that nothing is rushed and full attention can be given.

Prior to any cat sitting booking, I would arrange to visit your home to meet you and your cat(s) to ensure all requirements are communicated and understood.

What is the cost?

For up to two cats in a household:

One visit per day: £10

Two visits per day: £14

For three cats or more, there would be an additional charge depending on requirements, which can be discussed.

Why choose a cat sitter?

Each household and cat is different. Catteries can be perfect for some, but some cats may find the travel and setting stressful. Allowing your cat to be in their home ensures no stressful travelling and keeps your furry friends in their familiar surroundings.

It also allows more flexibility in arrangements - no keeping to check in times with a cattery, which can mean additional charges if they don't align with your holiday plans.

Am I insured?

Yes, I have public liability insurance and also have full DBS clearance, which can be provided upon request at any time.

I also have previous customers who are happy to provide references upon request.

Do I offer overnight sitting?

Overnight cat sitting isn't something I provide regularly, however I can sometimes offer this service and do so for some customers.

If you do have a sitting query, please do get in touch to enquire and I would be able to advise swiftly if this is possible or not.

Overnight sitting charges are £45 per night.

Are you experienced?

Yes!

I was born a cat lover and have had at least one pet cat throughout my entire childhood and adult life, ensuring their needs are always met.

I have previously worked in a small cattery in Cambridgeshire, and before embarking on self employment as a cat sitter, I would frequently help friends and family with any cat sitting requests, helping to build up my experience.

I have now been working within my own cat sitting business for over a year, and have a frequent number of both new and return customers who are happy with the service I provide.

I don't see cat sitting as a 'job', it is a passion and something i thoroughly enjoy every day - it never feels like 'work'!
